I am a person living in Toronto, Canada.

I have been a game designer, a filmmaker, a construction guy, a film crew guy, a soldier, a tree planter, a floatplane assistant, a lake surveyor, a summer bum in a northern town, a summer bum in Toronto, a Kickstarter creator, a bit of a marketing guy, a bit of a graphics guy, a "transmedia storyteller", a CEO of a small four-man startup that tried to change the world.

My name is Tim Carter.

Sometimes I call myself "XFunc Carter".

My portfolio site is XFunc.com (permalink: XFunc.blogspot.com). I've been in core design of projects with budgets of sometimes hundreds of thousands, and did well there. But I've also drifted through long periods - because, I believe this fire of mine is feared... Projects where the most I could do was take on the challenges I gave myself. 

I can't talk shop here. It'll kill me. I have to take off the masks. I've begun to get confused by them.

So this is just the stuff I've written, based on my years of watching the world... and sometimes, whenever I could, getting down there on the field.
